How is the statical effective depth calculated in RF-BETON surfaces?

Answer

The effective depth is calculated via the edge or the centroid of reinforcement, depending on the setting of the reference in Table 1.4 - Reinforcement Layout. Moreover, only the minimum height from top or bottom is applied for one direction. Thus, for a surface with a thickness of 180 mm, a concrete cover of 30 mm, and a rebar diameter of 10 mm (basic reinforcement), the effective depth is either 150 mm (reference to edge) or 145 mm (reference to axis).
