Important investment that pays off

I've been dealing with the software on my own, without training, just learning with the manual and leaning on the customer support to solve all my questions during the learning phase. Right the first time, I've found the program simple and intuitive compared to others (SAP2000, MasterSeries, Strauss, etc.) because I find the graphical interface user-friendly and because for the design part it reminds me, with certain differences, of AutoCAD.

As mentioned the software has the advantage of being simple and intuitive for me, but given the high amount of options I can certainly say not to use it now at 100% of its potential.

Customer support, which I believe is the most important part, is present and rapid, and several times I have had the opportunity to proactively confront myself to find solutions for a couple of problems. For wood it is definitely the most complete software that I have had the opportunity to use, so for those like me who work with XLam and wooden structures I would recommend it. Like any program it has its pros and cons, certainly including the slow implementation of features requested by users. RFEM is certainly an important investment but it pays off.
