For modeling membrane structures, it is recommended to generate an FE mesh with triangle elements. With square elements, warping effects may occur. Therefore, membrane surfaces are automatically meshed with triangle elements.
The settings are made in the Mesh Settings dialog box, the Surfaces tab.
