The world's tallest wooden observation tower was opened in June 2013 in Klagenfurt on Wörthersee. Including the tip, it measures 100 meters and offers three accessible viewing platforms with a breathtaking view over the Alpe Adria region. Inside, a covered slide almost 52 meters high allows speeds up to 25 km/h. The spiral-shaped structure symbolizes growth and development, as conceived by architects Klaura + Kaden. The calculation was performed using RSTAB and DYNAM by LACKNER + RAML civil engineers – GmbH.
