The removable grandstands are surrounded on three sides by precast seating risers in the north endzone of the Los Angeles Football club soccer stadium. The grandstands are a free-standing system. The system is comprised of aluminium trusses which are demountable from aluminium towers.

The recent trend in high-rise construction is clearly dominated by timber as the most ecological and environmentally friendly material. The project promoter Nexity Resolutely is committed to constructive building solutions with a reduced carbon footprint through various labels and certifications included in their several office and commercial timber projects. Among these is the Palazzo Meridia which is currently the tallest CLT office building in France. The Dlubal customer CBS-Lifteam was responsible for the planning, supply and installation of the timber structure.

This slender timber pedestrian bridge was constructed over the Bow River in Banff. The town of Banff is Canada’s first national park located in the beautiful Canadian Rockies. At 4 m wide and 113 m long, the bridge is complete with an 80 m clear span which is perhaps the longest of its kind for a timber bridge.

The bridge construction of Isarsteg as integrating artwork fits perfectly into the surrounding landscape. Taking nature as an example, the bridge overspans the Isar river like a branched limb. The ramps, stairs, columns and horizontal beams represent together the spatial framework. The pedestrian and cycle bridge, in total 160 m long, was made of weather-resistant structural steel S355 J2G2W (corten steel).

A unique installation, Conversation Plinth is a collaboration between IKD, a Boston-based architectural design firm, Bensonwood, SMARTLAM, the first CLT manufacturer in the US, and Clemson University’s Wood Utilization and Design Institute.
One of five Exhibit Columbus winners of the J. Irwin and Xenia S. Miller prize, Conversation Plinth is designed to generate conversation around the use of hardwood CLTs in US construction. While softwood CLTs have been used in North America in the construction of mid-to-high-rise buildings, the hardwood variety has only been available in Europe.

More and more cities and towns, especially in southern Germany, are open for multi‑storey timber buildings. The wood construction company Müllerblaustein Holzbau GmbH has convinced the German city of Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance of this apartment building concept.
In 2016, NEDCON got the assignment to install the steelwork for two fully automated distribution centres for two supermarket companies. One distribution centre is located in the US state of Michigan and the other distribution centre in the Canadian province of Alberta.
Rožnov pod Radhoštěm
A unique structure called Sky Walk has been built in Dolní Morava, Czech Republic, under the Králický Sněžník mountain at a height of 1,116 m, and is unprecedented in Central Europe.
Sky Walk is a look‑out trail leading up to 58.5 m above the surrounding hilly terrain level, being visible at a distance of several kilometers. The architectural design was created by the famous Czech architect Zdeněk Fránek. The Czech company TAROS‑NOVA s.r.o., a customer of Dlubal Software, was responsible for structural engineering and construction.

The historical theme park Puy du Fou opened the season 2016 with its new big spectacle “Le Dernier Panache” telling the glorious fate of a French naval officer, a hero of the American Revolutionary War. Among the many stage settings of the spectacle is that of the frigate, a warship known for its speed at the end of the 18th century.

A chipboard factory in Germany was reconstructed at the beginning of 2014. The main structural elements were made of S235 steel hot‑rolled shapes and the structure was set on a slab foundation.
