Stefan Frenzel Modeling | Structure RFEM RSTAB

If I rotate my model in view, the model centre is always the rotation centre point. Can I also put the rotation centre in the centre point of the current view?

Answer

Unfortunately, this option is not available directly in the program. The rotation via the 'Ctrl' key or the mouse wheel is always related to the model centre.

However, RFEM and RSTAB provide the possibility to perform the rotation around any node: select the desired node. Then, you can rotate the model around the selected node by pressing the 'Alt' key and the mouse wheel or the middle mouse button at the same time.
