Question

Why is it not possible to modify the thickness of single cross-section elements in SHAPE‑THIN?

Answer:
These cross-section elements belong to an inserted cross-section; therefore, they cannot be edited individually.

If you want to modify the individual elements of an inserted cross-section, you can do it in several ways:
1. Selecting another cross-section from the cross-section library
If you edit the cross-section or select another one, the corresponding elements will be changed as well. Click the "Parametric Input" button to modify the specified cross-section properties. This option is especially useful if you want to keep the base geometry and symmetry of the original cross-section. The sheet thickness and total height or width can be adjusted very easily this way.
2. Reducing section to individual elements
This way, you can create single, independent elements from the inserted cross-section. Subsequently, they can be edited like elements created normally. This procedure is useful, for example, if you want to change the base geometry of the original cross-section.
