Yes, the Concrete Design add-on can automatically determine the shear and longitudinal reinforcement for members and surfaces. This is done by selecting "Auto.." for the bar size or the number of bars for the "Provided Reinforcement" (Image 1). An error message appears when "Auto.." is selected for both parameters.
The add-on calculation will also then determine the "Required Reinforcement" needed from the analysis and further output the "Not Covered Reinforcement".
