The interface activates the Dlubal tab in Grasshopper. It contains three component groups (model data, loads, RFEM 6 import/export).
The model data group allows you to control the following objects:
- Materials, cross-sections & thicknesses (including layer structures)
- Nodes (including nodal mesh refinement and nodal support)
- Lines (including line mesh refinement and line support)
- Members (including eccentricities, hinges, nonlinearities, and member sets)
- Surfaces (including openings, eccentricities, surface mesh refinement, and surface supports)
- Solids
- Special objects (for example, rigid links, line hinges, nodal and line releases, surface contacts, and surface result adjustments)
The load group contains the following components for the generation of loads:
- Load cases, imperfection cases, design situations, and load combinations
- Node, line, member, member set, surface, and solid loads
- Nodal and imposed line deformations
- Free polygon loads
- Imperfections
The last group consists of components for the general control of RFEM 6. It allows the following actions:
- Control of global FE mesh settings
- Export from GH to RFEM (including use of templates)
- Start of the calculation
- Export of results to CSV or XML
- Opening and closing of RFEM 6 files
- Import from RFEM to GH
