Structural Analysis and Construction of Road Bridge as Reinforced Concrete Frame Bridge on Route B79

The objective of the graduation thesis includes the planning of a bridge on the route B79 between Quedlinburg and Halberstadt in Germany.

In the course of the preliminary planning, the project team analyzed four types of the bridge and presented them to the State Office for Construction in Saxony-Anhalt.

These are:

Type 1: Open reinforced concrete frame (in-situ concrete), shallow foundation on the ground pad

Type 2: Open reinforced concrete frame (in-situ concrete), bored pile foundation

Type 3: Open reinforced concrete frame (in-situ concrete) as a covered structure, bored pile foundation

Type 4: Closed reinforced concrete frame (precast elements) as a covered structure
