We provide hints and tips to help you get started with the main programs RFEM and RSTAB.
Why isn't any total displacement shown for result combinations in the program?
The different representation of nodal displacements for a load case or a result combination is based on the following:
For a load case, the total member displacement u is calculated from the single displacements ux, uy and uz.
For the result combination, however, it is possible that the individual displacements ux, uy and uz come from different load cases. Thus, no total displacement can be calculated. The individual maximum deformations would have to be displayed separately, specifying the load cases that lead to those results, and which lead to max and min values.

Your support is by far the best
“Thank you very much for the useful information.
I would like to pay a compliment to your support team. I am always impressed how quickly and professionally the questions are answered. In the industry of structural analysis, I use several software including service contract, but your support is by far the best.”
