How can I define a fixed ironing distance of, for example, 15cm and 30cm in CONCRETE or RF-CONCRETE rods?


This setting can be found in RF-CONCRETE Members in the dialog "1.6 Reinforcement - bracket" (see Figure 1).

You can also specify custom ironing distances under "Defined ironing distances". So for example 150 mm and 300 mm. With the following specification, only these distances are used for the design of the stirrup reinforcement.

  1. To do this, first click on the "Defined ironing distances" button (see Figure 2).

  2. Then you insert the available distances in the dialog "New list of possible distances between stay / bar". For example, 0.150 and 0.300. Then you give this new list a unique list name eg "Only 150 and 300 mm" (see Figure 3).

  3. Subsequently, this list of distances for design in RF-CONCRETE Members can be selected (see Figure 4).
