Force Load Distribution of Individual Load Cases on Different Insulating Glass Layers

Designing vertical insulating glass requires assigning different loads on the individual layers of the entire glass unit. This occurs, for example, with simultaneous actions from wind loads and fall protection.

In this case, the wind load is to act on the external layer, and the fall protection load is to act on the internal layer. In RF‑GLASS, you can merge the individual load cases into one load combination (CO) and concurrently assign the contained load cases separately to the different glass sides (Table 1.7) and run the calculation.

For automatically generated loads from climatic loads, the correct assignment is carried out automatically. However, additional loads in one of these load cases can then be controlled again by means of the table.
