Printout Report RFEM RSTAB

We would like to update and unify the page layout on all computers in our office, but without doing it manually. Is it possible to copy the file containing the layout to the corresponding computers? Where can I find this configuration file?

Answer

To unify the page layout on every computer, copy the following two files:

  • DlubalProtocolConfig.cfg

(in the "Stammdat" folder, for example C:\ProgramData\Dlubal\Stammdat)

  • RstabProtocolConfig.cfg or RmefProtocolConfig.cfg

(in the "General Data" folder of RFEM or RSTAB, respectively)

You can save the headers of the printout report on the menu "Settings" ->"Printout Header." The header is saved in the file "DlubalProtocolConfigNew.cfg" located in the "Stammdat" folder. Don’t forget to save the changes when exiting RSTAB or RFEM. To prevent overwriting of the headers during an update, keep a copy of the file in a separate folder.

In the "RstabProtocolConfig.cfg" file, all the settings for the printout report template are saved. Save this file before a new installation. Or you can just make a copy of the entire Stammdat folder before the next installation to in case that user-defined files are overwritten.
