Import/Export & BIM RFEM

Is it possible to import CAD drawings to RFEM and to convert the drawing into an RFEM model?

Answer

The import of DXF files created for example with AutoCAD is possible.

Lines of the DXF file are created as lines in RFEM. In this way, the geometry can be completely generated by import. Then, the imported lines can be used as surface boundaries or member axes etc. for modeling the structure.

There is also the possibility of a direct import.

Your support is by far the best

“Thank you very much for the useful information.

I would like to pay a compliment to your support team. I am always impressed how quickly and professionally the questions are answered. In the industry of structural analysis, I use several software including service contract, but your support is by far the best.”
