We have received a NET softlock and have activated it successfully on the license server. However, the dialog box 'Authorization' appears after having installed the programs on the user PCs when the program is started. If I select the option 'Run Full Version' and refer to the authorization file, I get a message saying that the license has already been activated. What should I do?
AnswerIf no authorization file is already being used on the computer, the program tries to reactivate the softlock. However, as it is already active, the corresponding message appears. There are two ways to apply the already activated license to the clients.
- Select the 'Demo Version' option in the 'Authorization' dialog box and enter it as follows: Help -> Authorization -> Import Authorization File
- Rename the AUTHOR.ini file to AUTHORE.ini and save it in the directory C:\ProgramData\Dlubal\Global\General Data

Reload the v2c file after the installation. If it does not work, please send us the authorization.txt, which you can create by clicking Help > Authorization > Diagnostics.
AnswerGenerally, two things are required for the licensing:The license key can be provided via a USB dongle or by means of a network softlock on a central company server. For the licensing from perspective of a client, there must be a permanent connection to the server. Once a license has been assigned, it can be viewed on the web-based license surface at http://localhost:1947/_int_/sessions.html. An automatic timeout after 12 hours of inactivity prevents a license from being permanently assigned and releases it to other users.
With the most recent generation of license keys, it is possible to activate 50 licenses per program and add-on module. This means that you can access RFEM and RF-STEEL EC3 from a maximum of 50 computers at a time.
