Advantages of User-Defined Views

RFEM and RSTAB offer many display options in the Display Navigator. They can be completely different, depending on their function. You often have to click several times to make certain changes. If you want to optimize your work, you can create user‑defined views. In these views, you can save all specified settings. The following example illustrates this principle.

There is an overall view of a structure as well as views for each frame with the respective grid axis. To switch between the view of the overall structure and the view of frame A, you need to make adjustments in the rendering, the visibilities, and the selection of the respective guideline (grid line). If, however, you have defined these views beforehand, you just need to click once on the relevant view.

Another advantage of user‑defined views is that they are now available for mass print. Thus, if you have defined a visibility for each frame and want to print the relevant internal forces N, Vz, and My into the printout report, you can perform this action in one go.
