How can I find members lying on top of each other and delete one of them?
The model check in RSTAB and RFEM allows you to find members lying on top of each other. Select on the menu "Tools" -> "Model Check" -> "Overlapping Members." In the corresponding dialog box, double members are shown sorted according to groups.
To delete a superfluous member, first click in an empty space, thus clearing the selection. Then, right-click the relevant member. In the context menu of the member, you can now select the "Delete Member" command.
To exclude overlapping members generally from deletion, you can select on the menu "Edit" -> "Allow Double Members."
