Stability analysis is performed up to the program generation 5 of RFEM using the add-on module RF‑STABIL. With the release of RFEM 6, the tried-and-tested features of the module have been adopted into the new Structural Stability add-on and the user interface has been adapted accordingly.
The most important change concerns the integration of the additional features in RFEM and RSTAB: after activating the add-on, a stability analysis can be assigned to any load cases or load combinations; all calculations are performed automatically; the results are displayed transparently.
