Answer:
Between cadwork and RFEM 5 or RSTAB 8, you can exchange models in four ways or by using three file types.
- Exchange via COM interface: In this case, a plugin is created in cadwork and used for a direct export from RSTAB 8 (see Image 01).
- Exchange via *.stp format as DSTV format: Exchange in both directions (bidirectional) is possible in this case. Supports can also be exchanged in both directions.
- Import of surfaces from cadwork into RFEM.
- Import of lines from cadwork into RFEM& 5 or RSTAB 8.

The Export → Modules → Structural System function also allows you to use cadwork to create entire structural systems that are exported to RFEM 5 or RSTAB 8. This functionality is constantly being extended in the program.
