Sonja von Bloh Import / Export & BIM RFEM RSTAB

When importing a dxf file, I get a message saying that the dimensions of the model are larger than 10000 meters. What can I do?

The message (Figure 1) indicates that the dimensions of the model are very large. This may have the following causes:

1) The dimensions of the model are indeed very large so that no further action is necessary.

2) During the import, the wrong units of length were set. In this case, check the length units in the "ASCII Format DXF (*.dxf)" tab of the "Import" window and set the desired length unit (Figure 2).

3) The model is far away from the origin. The model can be moved to the origin in the CAD program and then imported into RSTAB/RFEM.
