For the surfaces in RFEM, the results are always displayed in grid points. If the grid layout is not set correctly, it may happen that no such result is available for the individual surfaces. Therefore, no result value will be displayed in the graphic and the surface will be missing in the result table.
In general, it is enough to reduce the spacing of the grid points. For optimal output and graphical display, you can also adjust the surface grid in the editing window of the surface. To do this, double-click the surface to open the "Edit Surface" dialog box. Then, select the "Grid" tab.
Here, you can adjust the following basic settings for the surface grid:
- Cartesian or polar grid type
- Number and distances of grid points by direction
If you select the Customize grid type, you can additionally specify the following options:
- Grid Origin
- Grid Rotation
- Direction of Grid Axis
