[EN] FAQ 004330 | When starting PLATE‑BUCKLING as a stand‑alone program or as an add‑on module within ...

Question:
When starting PLATE‑BUCKLING as a stand‑alone program or as an add‑on module within RFEM/RSTAB, the "from RFEM" or "from RSTAB" button is grayed out.

Answer:
If the PLATE‑BUCKLING add-on module is not opened as a stand-alone program, but using RFEM or RSTAB, you can import the panels (c/t parts of a member cross-section) as well as the respective load cases in PLATE‑BUCKLING of the RFEM or RSTAB models (see the image).

If no valid cross-sections of PLATE‑BUCKLING are found in the model file of RFEM/RSTAB, the option for importing the buckling panels remains inactive.
