After activating the Tendons add-on, you can define the structural component with its tendons. In general, the following procedure is recommended:

1. Model the prestressed concrete element (a member with a cross-section or a surface with thickness).
2. Model the distribution of tendons in the element as lines.
3. Assign members of the Tendon type to the lines and define the cross-section and material properties.
4. Specify the bond properties.
5. Create the load cases for the prestressing.
6. Define the prestressing of the tendons.
