The calculation of the model is carried out using FE analysis of the prestressed concrete cross-sections, taking into account the prestress in the tendons as defined in the load cases and for the combinations. The tendons are automatically coupled with the member elements of the prestressed concrete cross-sections. Eccentricities and deflection forces are thus adequately included in the model for the calculation.
This modeling also allows for the exact consideration of both statically determinate and statically indeterminate internal forces resulting from the prestress.
