Integral Bridge in Ludwigslust, Germany

Near Ludwigslust in Germany, a new bridge will carry the tracks of a railway line. For this purpose, Dlubal customer Obermeyer Holding GmbH calculated an integral reinforced concrete bridge without prestress.

The existing single-span arch bridge is to be replaced by a new bridge. The new frame structure made of reinforced concrete without prestressing was commissioned by Deutsche Bahn. The superstructure slab is made of solid reinforced concrete and is monolithically braced into the abutment walls and the deep foundation.

The superstructure is composed of semi-precast elements, which are topped with in-situ concrete. The new replacement structure will also have deep foundations. Dlubal customer Obermeyer Holding GmbH performed the design of the bridge superstructure and deep foundations using RFEM, as well as the Concrete Design and Construction Stages Analysis (CSA) add-on.
