The following example describes wind tunnel experiments conducted by Tokyo Polytechnic University (TPU) as a validation basis in Part 9.2 WTG-Merkblatt M3. The objective of this study is to analyze and compare the force and moment coefficients (as Group 1 category in WTG) and wind pressure coefficient (as Group 2 category in WTG) that acting on various surfaces of a three-dimensional rectangular model, using both numerical simulations and experimental measurements. By investigating the aerodynamic behavior across different planes, this comparison aims to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the force distribution. Such insights are critical for evaluating the model's overall stability, aerodynamic performance, and structural response under flow conditions.
