To create the segment and subsequently the entire stadium roof, you should create a new model. A "3D" model type is preset.
Activate the "Form-Finding" add-on. Since the model is created in two stages (one for the main structure and one for the secondary structure), the "Construction Stage Analysis (CSA)" add-on should also be activated.
