Nodal supports can be defined by using the toolbar (
), the navigator data, or the "Insert" menu. This allows you to arrange nodal supports as shown in Image Assigning Nodal Supports.
The effect of the tension ring in a segment can be simulated by nodal supports rotated in the direction of the cable. Define two new nodal supports as described above and check the "Specific Direction" check box as shown in Image Activating "Specific Direction" for Nodal Supports.
This allows you to define two nodal supports rotated by 7.5 or -7.5 degrees.
Finally, assign the nodal supports as shown in Image Positioning Nodal Supports.
