With the defined membrane boundaries, the membrane can be modeled now. For this, a quadrangle surface should be created using the
button in the toolbar. Set the "Membrane" stiffness type for this surface.
The reference thickness of the membrane is set automatically by selecting the Glass-PTFE Type III material in the library.
The membrane surface can now be positioned between the boundary lines, as shown in Image Positioning Membrane.
To obtain the entire membrane, select the surfaces you have just defined with the associated members and mirror them by clicking the
button in the toolbar.
In this way, the membrane is completely modeled, as shown in Image Membrane.
