The 3D model of the noise protection hall visualizes deformations of an innovative structure for engine test runs. The design, which goes beyond legal noise protection requirements, was realized by Flughafen Zürich AG in cooperation with WTM Engineers GmbH and other specialist companies. The supporting structure was calculated using RSTAB and the design checks were carried out according to the Swiss steel construction standard SIA 263 using STAHL SIA. © WTM Engineers GmbH. The model shows modern steel construction methods used in industrial and process manufacturing plants.
