The four-story office building welcomes visitors, members, and employees of the AmperVerband company in its modern premises. The entrance area of the partially glazed facade includes inclined, V‑shaped composite steel columns spanning two floors.
This project deals with structural evaluation against climatic loads and the utilization and seismic analysis of an existing telecommunications tower performed by SAQQARA INGENIERIA S.L., a customer of Dlubal Software. The structure is a lattice tower with a square section plan, made of steel cross-sections, with a radar and the necessary auxiliary equipment installed on it, including a spherical radome as a mimicry.
For a project in Rotterdam, ADS Ertner used IDEA CONNECTION to analyze a structural steel connection. This program calculates steel connections utilizing the CBFEM method, where each thin-walled cross-section is modeled with nonlinear material properties, nonlinear bolts, and nonlinear welds. In order to transfer loads, ADS Ertner needed to use blocks in the connection model. In IDEA CONNECTION, blocks are not easily integrated with thin-walled plates.
A kindergarten, designed according to Building Information Modeling (BIM), is currently under construction in the Tyrolean municipality of Schwoich. The digital 3D model accompanies the construction project from design until completion.
The architectural planning was performed with Autodesk Revit. The structural model, including cross-sections, materials, loads, and so on, was exported to RFEM with the direct interface and designed there.
Cavezzo was one of the towns in the region of Emilia-Romagna damaged by the 2012 earthquake. As a result of this event, many public and private structures were heavily damaged and became uninhabitable. The municipal gym incurred such serious damage that it was necessary to completely demolish the existing reinforced concrete structure. However, the foundation was partially left on site.
The extension of the shopping mall "Centrum Černý Most" in Prague was completed and opened in March 2013. The project was designed by architects from the British company Benoy.
From an architectural point of view, the most impressive structural component of the Černý Most shopping mall is the partially glazed roof above the food court. The featured steel structure was built for this roof.
An extraordinary project was born when the architectural office of bergmeister-wolf designed a new workshop for wood carving art in Val Gardena, South Tyrol.
As the triangulated facade could be used only partially for load application, the building represented a great challenge for the responsible timber construction engineer. But the Italian Dlubal Software customer Schrentewein & Partner mastered the task by primarily using the building's inside parts for transferring loads.
The designed object is a heat exchanger to which a chimney was set up, a construction with an overall height of 199.1 ft. The structure consists mainly of sheets that were reinforced by exterior steel cross-sections in the bottom area.
The tripper car bridge is a part of the conveyor belt structure realized in Uzbekistan.
The engineering office of Jürgen Ehlenz, a customer of Dlubal Software, was responsible for the structural analysis and detailed design of the conveyor bridge and other parts of the conveyor belt system.
