Graphic Workspace
The graphical workspace is the central part of the user interface. This is where you create the model, define loads and evaluate results. You can intuitively control the view by clicking or rotating the cube (hold down the left mouse button and move the mouse pointer). Alternatively, you can also adjust the view directly using the mouse functions.
Navigator
The Navigator manages the model data clearly in a tree structure. At the bottom, there are three tabs (four after the calculation) that allow you to easily switch between the Data, Display, Views, and Results sections.
Tables
The data is managed in a clear and organized manner in the form of a spreadsheet in the Tables. You can select a specific table using the lists of main categories and their associated subcategories.
Control Panel
The Control Panel contains a legend that makes it easier to find your way around the model results. In addition, the control panel provides basic controls that you can use to customize and optimize the display of the results.
Intuitive Interface
A key strength of the Dlubal programs is the intuitive and easy-to-learn user interface. RSECTION 1 uses the same proven operating logic as the main programs RFEM 6 and RSTAB 9.
You can conveniently create and analyze cross-sections in a familiar CAD environment or in tabular form. Right-clicking on graphic objects or in the navigator quickly opens shortcut menus that make creating and editing objects easier. The intuitive handling allows you to quickly define cross-sections and implement changes immediately.
Dlubal continues to develop its programs on an ongoing basis. RSECTION 1 provides a variety of new features that make your daily work significantly easier and more efficient. Some of these new features are presented here:
Input
You only need to specify the standard group in the Base Data, according to which the effective cross-section is to be determined. After importing the section into the main program RFEM or RSTAB, it is available for design in the Steel Design and Aluminum Design add-ons like a library section.
Results
Are you just waiting for your results after the design? The design results are displayed in the usual way in the Steel Design add-on. In the corresponding output tables, you can find the classification, the effective section properties, and the design check, among other things.
