We provide hints and tips to help you get started with the main programs RFEM and RSTAB.
Is it possible in the RSTAB printout report to display only the internal forces of the start and end nodes in the results table 4.1 "Members – Internal Forces"? For constructing connections, the results of the maximum or minimum internal forces of the member starts and ends would be quite sufficient.
To display only the internal forces of start and end nodes in the results table "Members – Internal Forces," specify the corresponding settings in the selection of the printout report.
In the printout report, select the "Edit" –> "Selection." In the "Selection" dialog box, you can go to the "LC-/CO Results" tab and open the details for the internal forces by members.
Here you can specify that only "Nodal values" are to be shown (see figure 1). In the preview, only the row of the start and end nodes are shown for the load case and load combination results.
For the result combinations, you can set the same in the "RC Results" tab.
The output depends on the settings in RSTAB or RFEM.
An output at the intermediate points of the members depends on the definition of member divisions. If you, for example, edit a member, you can define a "Member Division" in the appearing window. At these points, internal forces are shown (see figure 2).
You can also export the data to an RTF file and then continue to simplify the data. The RTF export is available in the printout report (on menu "File").

Your support is by far the best
“Thank you very much for the useful information.
I would like to pay a compliment to your support team. I am always impressed how quickly and professionally the questions are answered. In the industry of structural analysis, I use several software including service contract, but your support is by far the best.”
