The “Splice plate” component requires separate member ends for its correct definition.If the member is separated by a node of the “Standard” type, these two member ends should not be defined as “Continuous” in the “Members” tab of the add-on, otherwise the “Splice plate” component will not recognize the second connected member.  The correct procedure is to set the type to “Member end”This type of joint cannot be defined at a node of the “On Member” type (blue nodes), because this node type does not divide or separate the member. As a result, the “Splice Plate” component does not recognize the second connected member.Link to:
