Result Evaluation and Printout Report

Helpful 3D Rendering in RFEM

“When extending the mosque in Mecca, it was especially helpful in RFEM to visualize the structure in 3D rendering and share the results with project partners from different cultural backgrounds.”

Project: Expansion of the Holy Mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia

Internal forces, deformations, and support forces are displayed in tables and graphically on the model. Filter criteria allow for targeted selection of results. All data is documented in a multilingual printout report. The content can be adjusted and saved as a template. In addition, graphics, texts, MathML formulas and PDF documents can be added to the report.

1

Color Representation of Internal Forces

The result tables show in color whether there are the positive or negative internal forces and what is the relation to the extreme values. The graphic also shows the positive or negative internal forces in different colors. The colors can be changed if necessary.

2

Result Diagrams

The result diagrams of members, surfaces (RFEM), and supports are freely configurable. You can define smooth ranges with average values or, if necessary, display and hide result distributions. This option ensures the targeted evaluation of results. All diagrams can be added in the printout report.

3

Visualization of Results

The results are colorized on the rendered model, making it easy to see, for example, the rotation of a member or the stress distribution in a surface. You can freely set the colors and the value ranges in the control panel.

4

Result Display via Clipping Plane

Clipping planes are intersecting planes that you can place freely throughout the model. The area in front of or behind the plane is hidden in the display. This way, you can show, for example, results in an intersection or a solid.
5

Detailed Result Tables

The first result table displays a summarized overview providing the equilibrium of forces in the structural system and the maximum deformations. Information about the calculation process is included as well. You can filter the result tables by specific criteria such as extreme values or design locations.

6

Multi Print of Graphics

There is a mass print function for the model data, loads, and results. It is possible to create graphics from different defined directions. For example, you can print all internal forces in an isometric view with a single mouse click.

7

Multilingual Report Output

The output in the printout report can be generated in different languages: German, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Czech, Polish, Russian, Chinese. Additional languages can be created by the user.

You can easily import additional texts. The page numbering is configurable, so you can use prefixes, for example. In addition, the report can be exported as a PDF file.

8

Management of Printout Report Scope

The scope of the printout can be customized via selection criteria. You can create printout templates based on existing printouts and reuse them across projects.
