Bell Tower of Protestant Church in Flintbek, Germany - Structural and Dynamic Analysis

In the present thesis, the loading due to the oscillating bells of the peal of bells is determined for the bell tower of the Protestant church in Flintbek, Germany. The peal of bells and the bell tower construction are analyzed with regard to structural and dynamic aspects by means of the current engineering standards. This includes the determination and evaluation of the tower's lowest natural frequency as well as a rough calculation of the design ratio for the bell tower structure.
