With "free loads", the sum of the load does not agree with the sum of the bearing reactions! Is this a bug?

Answer

Thank you for your e-mail request. Free loads are not tied to an object when it's created. This is also shown in the attached diagram. If you define a free load (example free individual load with 10kN) and do not specify a specific area, all areas that meet this load in the load direction are loaded If two surfaces are touched, the sum of the bearing reaction = 20kN (no further loads required in the system).
