Question

To create our information brochures, we need some project graphics from RFEM/RSTAB.In addition to printing to the clipboard, how can I save the graphics or generate them for further processing by RFEM/RSTAB?

Answer:

Unfortunately, the graphics cannot be directly exported in the JPG or BMP format. Using the print option via the clipboard, you can paste the graphics into other programs that allow editing and saving as a BMP or PNG file. However, a changed background color is not applied.

Windows provides the "Snipping Tool" accessory. This is a screen-printing program that allows you to create graphics in the GIF, PNG, and JPG formats.

There are, of course, also professional programs, such as Snagit®. When inserting graphics, for example, in PowerPoint, you should not change the size by dragging the edges, otherwise the display will become pixelated. If you want to have it in a different size, you can adjust it in the image editor (pixels, and so on) or print the image again with a different view.
