In this chapter, the story modeling options and their effects on the stiffnesses are explained using a simple example.
Building
- Two stories with h = 3 m each
- Length: 6 m
- Width: 6 m
- Two walls with l = 1 m each, made of CLT, and d = 12 cm; global orientation Y
- Two walls with l = 1 m each, made of concrete C20/25, with d = 12 cm; global orientation X
- First floor: Concrete C20/25 with d = 16 cm
- Second floor: CLT with d = 16 cm
- Slab-to-wall connection: Hinged
- Line supports: Fixed in vertical direction, local
- A nodal support for each wall, globally in X and Y
- LC1: 2 kN/m² per floor in the direction Z, no consideration of the automatic self-weight
- LC2: 2 kN/m in the direction Y for the boundary line on each floor
