The Components add-on provides a new way in RFEM to integrate structural components and connections into the model using predefined or user-defined component series and to design them directly.
The major extension is the integration of component libraries into the program environment. Via the Dlubal Center, component series can be selected, filtered, and directly inserted into the model (see image Component series in the Dlubal Center). The required parameters, ultimate limit states, and other properties for the respective component are automatically adopted from the stored data.
Furthermore, users can create their own component series and use them for modeling and design checks.
The components are placed on members or member ends via defined assignment types.
Further information on the individual functions and workflows of the Components add-on can be found in the following chapters. More information on other add-ons can be found in the Add-ons chapter of the RFEM manual.
