This part of the manual describes the data exchange between RFEM 6 and Tekla Structures.
Basically, the following procedures are possible:
- An analytical model is created in Tekla Structures. The complete model or an extracted substructure is transferred to RFEM and adjusted there, for example, by adding supports, loads, or combining load cases. After the design and optimization of the objects in RFEM, the adjusted model can be transferred back to Tekla Structures.
- A structural analysis model is created, designed, and optimized in RFEM. The complete model or the substructure is exported to Tekla Structures. There, the production plans can be created, for example.
