In RFEM 6, there are various options for defining contact conditions. The following methods are particularly suitable for modeling the contact between surfaces of the structure and the soil massif:
- Surface Contacts
- Contact volume.

Suitability
- Surface contacts are well suited for foundation slabs on the solid ground.
- The contact volumes are ideal for uneven components.
