The following overview shows the RFEM 6 user interface and contains markings at the locations in the Navigator or in the global settings that are expanded with specific input options as a result of activating the Geotechnical Analysis add-on.
Basic Objects (1)
In the Basic Objects folder, the materials are expanded. It contains suitable material laws for soil analysis.
Geotechnical Analysis (2)
The Geotechnical Analysis folder includes the objects “Boreholes”, “Soil Massifs”, and “Pile Resistance Types”, which are specific to geotechnical analysis. These are used to define the soil structure to be analyzed.
Global Calculation Settings (3)
In the “Calculate” menu, settings are added under “Mesh Settings” that are customized to the requirements for meshing the soil body model.
Load Cases & Combinations (4)
In the Load Cases and Combinations folder, you can set the initial state. Furthermore, specific analysis settings are available.
