This manual only provides a brief description of where in the program you can view and edit the various loads and load cases. Detailed information on all options can be found in the corresponding sections of the RFEM 6 Online Manual.
For the calculation, consider a dead load case with a surface load of 1.5 kN/m² on both floors, a live load of 3 kN/m² on both floors, and 5 kN/m² on the foundation slab. You can display and edit the load cases using the
button in the toolbar. A new load case is created in the dialog box using the
button at the bottom of the list.
You can activate the combination wizard in the "Main" tab. This automatically generates the action and load combinations to be taken into account.
In the "Design Situations" tab, you can switch to the linear static analysis. To do this, select all design situations in the list, then change the entry in the combination wizard.
The automatically generated combinations are listed in the tabs for the action and load combinations and can be edited, if necessary.
Use
in the toolbar to create a new surface load. Enter the load size in the dialog box and assign it to one or more surfaces.
