Pushover Analysis - Dlubal Solutions

RFEM ensures the stability of your project – even in the case of an earthquake. A pushover analysis is a nonlinear structural calculation. It is important for a seismic analysis of structures. For this, the load pattern is inferred from the dynamic calculation of equivalent loads. These loads are increased incrementally until a global failure of the structure occurs. In this case, the nonlinear behaviour of a building is usually represented by using plastic hinges.

In the RFEM program, you can also perform pushover analyses. There you will find the plastic hinges according to the definition of FEMA 356 for the material of steel, as already mentioned. By combining the calculation diagrams and the load increment option, you can easily get pushover curves that you can further use in your work.
