Design of Selected Reinforced Concrete Structural Elements of Production Building with Detached Office Segment Located in Cracow, Poland

The object of the study is the dimensioning of a floor slab, a foundation slab, and a column (prestress of the BI axis) of a production and storage building and an office.

This study includes:

  • Evaluation of structural loads
  • Structural model generated in RFEM
  • Result verification using the three-layer method
  • Column designed with the analytical method
  • Drawings of the horizontal and vertical sections
  • Reinforcement drawings for the selected structural elements

The building structure was created in Revit and the analytical model was then exported to RFEM, where the structural and analytical calculations have been performed. Surfaces were divided into finite elements with a length of 15.74 in. W miejscu łączeń słupa z płytą stropową zastosowano dogęszczenie siatki ES do elementów o długości 20 cm. The RF-CONCRETE Surfaces add-on module was used to dimension the reinforcement of the floor slab and the foundation slab with regard to the ultimate and serviceability limit state (cracks). The necessary reinforcement in the floor slab due to deflection was calculated with the RF-CONCRETE Deflect add-on module. The column was designed according to the analytical method.
