  1. Figure 01 - Adjusted Value Range

Documenting Graphical Results of Reinforcement in RF-CONCRETE Surfaces

RFEM offers different options to display results graphically which have been determined in RF-CONCRETE Surfaces. This article gives an overview of these options.
  2. Figure 01 - Graphic Printout to 3D PDF

Visual Model Check Using Print to 3D PDF

The 3D PDF functionality allows you to display three-dimensional models from RFEM or RSTAB in a 3D PDF.

  3. Adding Prefix to Page and Sheet Numbering

Adding Prefix to Page and Sheet Numbering

The ‘Page and Sheet Numbering’ dialog box allows you to add a prefix to the numbering of the pages and sheets. It can be an abbreviation which specifies by chapter all model data in the numbering, for example with ‘MO’.

  4. Adjusting Printout Report Layout

    Adjusting Printout Report Layout

The layout of a printout report can be adjusted by changing fonts, font colors, page margins, and table shading.

  5. Text Formatting as Superscript or Subscript

Text Formatting as Superscript or Subscript

The printout report of RFEM/RSTAB includes a text block function. This feature allows you to create user‑defined text blocks with formatting and heading and add it to the printout report.

  6. Optimizing Graphic Printout for Page Size

For a printout of structural analysis in the usual DIN A4 page format, the default settings of graphic quality of 1000 x 1000 pixels are completely sufficient. However, if the printout should be on the larger page format, you can increase the print quality to the maximum of 5000 x 5000 pixels in the options of Graphic Printout, or specify a user‑defined value.

  7. Extension of Function "Image from Clipboard" in Printout Report

Extension of Function 'Image from Clipboard' in Printout Report

As of the program version x.06, it is also possible to insert .bmp file formats from the clipboard into the printout report. Previously, only the .emf format (Windows Metafile) was supported. Thus, it is no longer necessary to insert a screenshot to a supported program such as MS Paint and then from there to the printout report.

  8. Rotated Nodal Support: Display and Results in Printout Report

Rotated Nodal Support: Display and Results in Printout Report

Nodal supports are usually defined with regard to the global axis system. However, it is sometimes necessary to rotate the nodal support. For example, for floor slab with a pile foundation. For geological reasons, the piles do not rest in the ground vertically, but in an inclined position. Each end point of the piles has a nodal support, which can only absorb forces along the pile foundation direction. Therefore, rotation of the nodal support is required. Various options for this are described in the previous posts.

  9. Special ASCII Characters in Text Block

There is a text block function in the printout report of RFEM/RSTAB. This feature allows you to create user-defined text blocks with formatting and heading and add it to the printout report. Frequently recurring text blocks are covered in the text block library. Here you can save any existing text block to use it again later.

  10. Schematic Sketches for Snow and Wind Loads in Printout Report

Schematic Sketches for Snow and Wind Loads in Printout Report

In addition to the general information about the generated snow and wind loads in the form of tables, the corresponding schematic sketches are also available in the printout report of RFEM and RSTAB now. These are displayed separately for each load case.
