The Objects to Exclude table provides the option to deactivate individual load combinations of a design situation as well as objects for specific load combinations from the design.
Combinations to Design
The table lists all combinations that are available in the design-relevant design situations. Using the check boxes in the “To Solve” column, you can control which of these combinations are to be taken into account in the design. This provides an alternative to the selection option in the To Calculate dialog box to only design certain combinations. You can also use the check boxes to specify the combinations that are not relevant for the design of certain objects.
Excluded Objects
If you remove members or surfaces from the design in the Objects to Design table, they will not be taken into account in any design situation. The columns in this table, on the other hand, allow for objects to be deactivated only for specific combinations, thus specifically excluding them from the design for certain combinations. This saves computing time and ensures that each object is only analyzed for its relevant load combinations.
Enter the numbers of the excluded objects in the corresponding table rows. You can also graphically select the objects using the
button at the end of a cell.
