Imperfections

Imperfections are entered in the same way as loads in the RFEM and RSTAB user interface. Select the type of imperfection when creating the imperfection cases. You can assign the generated imperfection cases to the individual load cases or use them as part of the load combination.

Important

An imperfection case is only taken into account in a load case or load combination if the “Consider imperfection” option is activated and the imperfection case is selected. When using the combination wizard, it is necessary to activate the “Consider imperfection cases” option.

Special features of imperfections with regard to the calculation with 7 degrees of freedom are described in this chapter.
